Pros

• Vision for excellence (company in a whole is very attentive for details) • Content focus approach (the user and the content are priorities) • Working with Education • Work directly with CEOs • Collaboration (and learning) from other fields/teams • Flexible hours • Annual worldwide team trips for collaborating together :)

Cons

• Remote Only has its own's disadvantages • All challenges of a growing team (ex: we usually need to help in other areas/teams... the Pros to this this, is that we learn more from other areas/fields)

A transformative journey

Pros

Joining IxDF has been a transformative journey, not just professionally but in the way I view work and collaboration. At IxDF, we depend on self-governance, transparency, and trust rather than authority. This paradigm shift has strengthened my sense of responsibility and professional pride, where I am accountable not just for my tasks but also for the collective success of our team. This is an aspect that can make some people uncomfortable: When you are given the freedom to govern yourself, you’ll need to live up to that freedom with maturity, self-discipline and consistency. The culture at IxDF is built on openness, trust, and a co-creative spirit, which has been incredibly empowering. It encourages us to base our life and work on these values, which generates enthusiasm and a sense of shared purpose. However, when someone in the team breaches the trust, then a whole team can suffer. That’s why it’s so important to keep each other accountable to high standards and honesty. The IxDF culture is anchored in a growth mindset, a stark contrast to the fixed mindset prevalent in many traditional companies. This approach has spurred (pushed?) me to see challenges/tasks/hardships as opportunities for growth, pushing me beyond my comfort zone and to continually strive to learn, learn, and learn. And yes, being outside your comfort zone is, as the name suggests, not always comfortable. But that’s how we grow. If you want an easy job and don’t like growing, then IxDF is not for you. As the career video on our career page says, we are driven by intrinsic motivation, focusing on self-discipline, self-motivation, and self-reliance. That’s why working at IxDF feels not just like a job; it's more of a passion and learning journey. This perspective has reshaped my approach to work, transforming it from a mere occupation to a journey of fulfillment and continuous learning. And…. don’t forget; a lot of consistent and intense work. Learning and growth only happens through consistency and a lot of effort.

Cons

Being a fully remote team, we have experienced some team members who have chosen to work remotely for the wrong reasons; they’re not fully committed and not here to do their best work. Recently, we’ve faced a few tough but necessary decisions. We had to say goodbye to some team members who weren't fully embracing our core values, particularly trustworthiness and self-government. It's crucial for us to work in an environment where we can rely on each other and strive to do our best. Unfortunately, they fell short in these areas, impacting our team dynamic and overall mission. Parting ways, though difficult, is essential for keeping our team's integrity and motivation intact.

Pros

I have been working with IxDF for some time now and everyday my view of the company and the team gets better. IxDF has a great culture of compassion and passion. Where you are encouraged to grow and given freedom to explore what is best for you and the company.

Cons

IxDF demands that you be passionate. And people who are not passionate won't survive for long.
