Pros

Upper management trusts that employees know what to do and leave them to it which is fantastic. You work with smart people and there isn't much office politicking which was incredibly refreshing. The onboarding experience has been super detailed and unlike anything I've experienced before. There is a culture course that details everything from the history, the mission & vision, work modality, how to get the best work-life balance, etc. An onboarding buddy assists you to get used to different systems and processes. There are lots of opportunities to have a strong impact on the products and culture. Everyone is able to put their views, defend ideas with data and do what's best for the company & the product. The management can be easily reached out and are indeed visionary. They really understand people and tech. Good overall compensation & benefits. Yearly company retreat (on hold now due to COVID).

Cons

Not really a con but you have to be able to work independently and take responsibility for your work.

Pros

* great idea behind the company - improving design education makes out lives better * excellent culture - still learning every day the philosophy rules behind the scenes * nice motivated "team of leaders" * minimum number of meetings for better productivity * respect to you individual working hours (or even working days) that could vary depending on country * number of paid vacation days depending on working period

Cons

The company culture works best for senior developers. You should find your own way to keep yourself self-motivated. But when this kind of problem is solved working experience really shines.

Pros

• Exposure to a diverse team that's spread out across the world. • A near-flat hierarchy that encourages people to connect with experienced peers. • Dynamic work that challenges the brain, and fun to be a part of -- there's so much to learn! • Fully remote (this may not be everyone's cup of tea, but with the processes and support system in place, the system here works wonderfully). • A transparent, supportive organization. • I joined at the height of the covid-19 pandemic, so we couldn't meet in person, but I know that there used to be regular team trips, and surely will have one as soon as it is safe to travel again.

Cons

If you're looking for a comfortable place to hide, this isn't the place to be. My colleagues are super smart, efficient and high-performing. I have often felt like I wasn't contributing as well as my colleagues, and that felt stressful. Fortunately, my colleagues are also supportive and motivate me (and I try to reciprocate that as much as possible)
