Pros

Colleagues who are super ambitious Meaningful work with a great mission I can work from anywhere No bureaucracy A manager who trusts me A global team Paid holidays Results were at the center of success, not office politcs

Cons

Sometimes you have to motivate yourself by imagining the thousands of UX designers who are taking our courses since you don’t see the students in real life. Seeing real faces instead of statistics would give me greater motivation.

Pros

- There are very few meetings, and you can work at the time that best fits you. - You manage your workload. You have to be aware the backlog of tasks and then propose what you want to do in the following weeks, which is usually accepted. During my time working there, I was never pushed by a deadline, but of course you need to be responsible and reasonable with time investments. - Whatever you need for making your work better, the company provides. Could be a course, book, or tool. You just need to explain why you need it, and it is not by a complex request form, just speaking with the CEO.

Cons

- There was no strong attachment to an agile methodology to put things in a more logical order. Nevertheless, there was the intention to improve that.

Pros

It's a company (foundation) composed of many talents from around the world and you will get to work with many amazing and skilled people. They really make sure the whole foundation feels like my second family. They listen and understand my personality and needs. They are very aware of all potential disadvantages arising from the fact that everybody works from home and they always make sure these are mitigated to an absolute minimum. I think they managed to create very healthy working environment with a perfect blend of great professionalism and very warm and friendly communication style.

Cons

Working from home might be a challenge sometimes and YOU need to make sure you know what you're doing. There is no boss peaking around your shoulder to make you do something or work properly. It's a big responsibility and I learned a lot just from that.
