Pros

I have been working with IxDF for some time now and everyday my view of the company and the team gets better. IxDF has a great culture of compassion and passion. Where you are encouraged to grow and given freedom to explore what is best for you and the company.

Cons

IxDF demands that you be passionate. And people who are not passionate won't survive for long.

Pros

The main aspect that struck me working at the Interaction Design Foundation is the amount of trust they give you from the beginning. Each member understands their own responsibility inside the organization and strives to be a leader. It's inspiring to work alongside professionals from so many different fields, working towards the common goal of doing better, learn something new everyday and offer help for any of their peers.

Cons

You don't get to chat with your peers so often, which is a shame because everyone has so much knowledge to share. However online events make up for it.

Pros

I have been with the IxDF for ~9 months, and feel honored to be part of this team. The pros for me so far have included: * A team I see doing its best every day to democratize top-quality design education. * Colleagues that are incredibly talented, kind and hard-working. * Willingness as an organization to adapt and try new things. * A very international, remote-first organization.

Cons

The cons for me so far have included: * The typical challenges of a small but growing organization. (e.g.,occasional documentation challenges, cross-timezone coordination) * During the pandemic, working remotely across international borders has been a little isolating. This is likely to change as travel resumes.
