Pros

Weekly pay If you are between jobs fine, it’s a weekly paycheck. Give yourself an exit plan in 2 yrs. If you want to learn how to do sales and recruiting you will learn a lot. All their training and effort is in these two functions. They are a sales company.

Cons

Poor leadership. Poor business sense They have a new CFO who knows how to run a company she might turn it around. Sales or ex sales runs the entire company. If you are not in sales you are the “help”. If you have more than 5yrs experience in any corporate function, HR, accounting, IT or finance you know more than they do. And forget about proposing changes they are not up for that. Heck this company just started using laptops 6 yrs ago 401k is 250 per year. And since there are so many consultants eligible but don’t sign up they fail their 401k test every year. The max you can contribute is roughly 22k. If you put in more you will be refunded the following year. Perhaps the leaders in evergreen will take over one day. That is where the growth lies.

Pros

If you're a hard worker, it allows creative sourcing and allows full use of recruitment tools. Your relationship-building skills improve from working here. There are some bright young professionals here to build your network, and have a lot of fun while you're at it.

Cons

-Intimidation and Public shaming is used to motivate. They will make your life as unbearable as possible so that you will quit, and they wont have to pay out unemployment. - Work life Balance: they celebrate and encourage 50+ hour work weeks and expect people to also participate in regular happy hours and party events outside of work. You must be in your seat at 8am on the dot and cannot leave until minimum 5pm, and are encouraged to work well beyond that because its a "grind" culture. Not to mention many of the people here spend their whole weekends together as well. Be prepared to drink the kool-aid. -Diversity: Not much. The TA group scouts most new recruits from the local college Greek Systems, I have seen TA's with "(Fraternity OR Sorority)" in their search. Consistently Micromanagement. Microaggressions when youre not meeting your goals "IF you don’t meet your goals next week, our next meeting will be very different.". They are not afraid to put you on a PIP. Underpaying contractors for better mark up: Youre encouraged to undercut and nickel and dime candidates to improve the markups.

Pros

I have nothing good to say about this company after how they treated me.

Cons

Insight Global was my recruiting company when I was placed at McGraw Hill. When I was abruptly terminated at 15 weeks pregnant—without warning, documentation, performance concerns, severance, or explanation—I expected at least some advocacy or support from my recruiter. Instead, Insight Global did nothing. They made no effort to push back on McGraw Hill’s actions, advocate for fairness, or even provide basic guidance during a very vulnerable time. Their silence spoke volumes. To make matters worse, after I posted a review of McGraw Hill, the company replied publicly saying they “take concerns seriously” and invited me to email them. I did, with a detailed account of what happened. They never responded. Insight Global never followed up either. Both companies seem more concerned with protecting their image than with protecting the people they employ.
