Pros

I bet you can’t find any.

Cons

I have a long list of my personal experience with Infy. Financial: no hike in first 4 years of joining followed by 1% hike after 4 years Career Growth: have good internal training platform, but has not much relation real time projects. There is no job security . Also, company has a great loopholes to exploit employees in any ways possible. For e.g. while keeping you on bench, you are asked not to use any leave as there may be client interviews any time. And all of a sudden HR comes to you and gives you the news of termination of employment with immediate effect. Also Infy does not pay you for unused PTO/ vacation as a part of company policy, so employee is screwed , who has family to run.

Pros

Pros of Infosys: Good Work Culture Supportive teams and a collaborative environment make it a positive place to work. Flexible Work-from-Home (WFH) Options Depending on the project and manager, Infosys often allows remote work or hybrid models. Great Campus Facilities Offices, especially in Mysore and Pune, have top-class amenities like a gym, gaming zones, food courts, and concerts or cultural events for employee engagement. Brand Recognition Infosys is a globally known IT giant, which adds credibility to your resume. Learning Resources Platforms like Infosys Lex, internal certifications, and mentorship programs help with continuous learning.

Cons

Cons of Infosys (Based on My Experience): No Project Allocation Despite spending almost 3 years, I wasn’t assigned to any live project, which limited my practical exposure and learning. Lack of Career Growth Without project work, it became difficult to upskill effectively or show measurable progress. No Salary Hike or Promotions Due to lack of billable work, I didn't receive expected salary increments or career advancement.

Pros

Decent Pay, but no real direction.

Cons

Benefits were less than ideal. This is an Indian firm and they definitely take care of their own! In fact I was run out of all of my assignments as soon as they found a way to push me out in favor of another H1-B. After 2 years they pushed me out of the organization. Severance was the bare minimum. 2 weeks. Insurance was cut off immediately despite having been deducted for the month. This company does not take care of its US employees!!!
