      Nice facility .. lot of people with experience ... good to decent salary

      Cons

      I working for the past 1.5 years in IT , had no good experience so far, seen changes every week month ... Engineers asked to leave, managers were asked to leave, Director was asked to leave, and now VP is moving out .. can there be anymore worse can happen .Cant plan anything while i am here .Management talks something and does somethin else, complete chaos in daily work. anybody close to managment can speak whatever he wants. instability is not new it seems in IT it was like this for many years. Entire IT org has changed in last 3 months. Read and think before you take a decision ever to join here. 50-60% people have left IT in last 6 moths.

      Great compensation and flexibility, but at a steep price

      • financially stable, big, established company • market leader in data integration, great reputation in IT organizations • steady, logical growth through acquisitions • generous compensation package • flexible work configurations

      Cons

      • lack of logical functional organization in marketing • lack of transparency, accountability, creativity in marketing management • "this is the way we've always done it" rules the day • environment of fear, blame, intimidation by groupthink • intransigent middle management means no room for career growth

      Wasted Time

      Pros

      Excellent benefits and the appearance of mobility within the company. Other departments seemed to be quite satisfied with their work and their managers.

      Cons

      Direct management (up to the Director level) juvenile and vindictive. Your Linked In, Facebook and other social media accounts are monitored. Management claims you can easily transfer between departments then blocks those attempts.

Informatica does have a formal social media policy and, whilst we clearly do not actively monitor employee's social media feeds, we do address concerns that are brought to our attention that might violate the policy. We actively encourage career progression in many formats; including internal transfers. We have an internal transfer policy to aide employees and hiring managers with internal transfers and HR is also actively involved in this process to ensure smooth internal transfers. A number of roles are filled by internal transfers each year. We will continue to work alongside employees and managers to ensure the process is handled smoothly to allow employees career advancement opportunities.
