      Pros

      A few years ago it was one of the best places to work.

      Cons

      The management and private equity ownership have run this to the ground. Anyone challenging way of things are shown the door. Senior mgmt spend more time with HR to devise ways rid of people who have made the company what it is now. Very few new grads even look at this company. It has become a second or third tier company. The HR who let go people in engineering was himself let go.

      Short-term focus on tactics -- without rewards

      Pros

      - On plan to IPO in coming year or so. It's always nice to be experience that. - Long-term employees (over 3 years) so genuine and friendly, its a bit surprising in Tech. Best part of working there was the chance to meet and work with them. - A great starter-company for engineers right out of college.

      Cons

      - Newer-term employees and leaders are not so genuine. Lots of political BS in the middle-management and senior leader level. This perpetuates "us vs them" behaviors and silos. - Everything is focused on the IPO, which will financially benefit owners and VPs -- rest of employees are not guaranteed a reward for the massive hard work being asked of them to transform products, go-to-market, and back office processes and systems.

      Alarm to the management

      Pros

      1) Not much work pressure in some teams.

      Cons

      1) Breakfast(paid), lunch(free) and dinner(free) food quality is absolutely poor. Even after numerous complaints to the HR, they seem reluctant to act. Breakfast prices have increased and the food quality is reduced. They only serve food to claim as an additional benefit to the employees. 2) Women employees in the company are not respected. There is a Facebook confession page where men say bad about women including harassing them and complimenting their figure. 3) I've had people in my team leaving all of a sudden. Absolutely no effort is made to retain employees. 4) Worst HR team ever. They talk about POSH but make no effort to ensure women safety. 5) People who have been in the company for a long while talk whatever and however they feel like. A friend of mine was harassed multiple times(by cracking bad jokes to her).
