There are lot of people working more then 10 years and floors are reserved for their car parking. Almost all current managers joined in the beginning of this company and enjoying the fruits of benefit n ruling the teams. one should be very talented to break them to move up in management and people who shaped Informatica to this level are been replaced.
I saw almost new faces every day who are replacing the talents who actually designed the products. there would be lot of work for below 5 years and forget about girls working around you here. They just don't hire girls. only selected people will get shares and other benefits. when u travel abroad for work u get peanuts and cost cut rooms. 10% of bonus in CTC that is never given 100%.
R&D India : 70% are new and mid level engineers, people are shuffled from team to team for work. once in life time u travel and what they talk when u join are all just talks. once in while parties. all your future depends on how you keep your manager.
Support team is all from region basis, just attend interview in tamil then you are selected. just count the hierarchy for answers, just goes to abroad to spend money where R&D is treated as cost to company. things are controlled by managers and directors even HR is just for name sake.
no strong policy to help employees, courses and training's are conducted just for name sake. no outcomes and things go as per managers. should think why employees left. even almost all HR left the company. I worked for 3 years and couple of months here, company sold to private, management changed and still every one acts nothing happened.
Just make conscious decision before joining.
