Pros

This company is in the center of one of the biggest market opportunities, the work is interesting, and the culture is truly special - helpful, supportive, and goal oriented. You can be yourself here. Hard to beat that combination.

Cons

It's in transition due to growth (just hit $1billion in revenue), and there are pain points that come with new people, new ideas, reorgs, new challenges, departures, etc. However, if you're new like me, all you see is opportunity.

Informatica understands the value of data, and wants their customers to increase their return on the value of informaticion they have within their enterprise. Informatica also understands the value of their employees and makes avenues available for rewards, promotions, and self worth.

Cons

The only Cons within Informatica are the negatives you hold within yourself. You can make yourself visable, speak up, and ask questions where appropriate. Noone should ever feel that the company lacks anything from a simple business expense, to planning a meeting, to hosting a customer event. You can own it, share it, or ask others to help.

Pros

The company has excellant benefits. As an employee, I feel valued. Compensation is excellant. I am encouraged to develop and access training. The products are great and the company invests heavily in R & D. Communication is good throughout the organization. My direct manager is the best manager that I have had in my career.

Cons

Sometimes, the work-life balance is not quite there. I'm graded on utilitzation but if I take my vacation, I am penalized in utilization unless I work extra hours to make up for the vacation.
