More cons than pros

Pros

Remote options. Decent salaries. Relative anonymity as a contributor.

Cons

This company has the worst culture. Layoff season was a mess. Instead of laying off people at once, it was a slow burn over several months. It really showed how little this company cares about people as humans. Also, they claimed in 2022 that they hire associates on a range from $70,000 to $80,000 per year, and then by 2023, they were offering associates $50,000 per year, disgusting business practice.

Pros

Genuinely, the only one I can think of is the ability to connect with others.

Cons

How long you got? Seriously? The more I’ve learned, the more horrified I’ve become. Abysmal leadership, complete lack of ethics/morality, and absolutely no interest in anything that doesn’t serve a perceived self benefit. Even for consulting, this place is a cess pool of snake oil

Pros

Working at Infor for over ten years has been a rollercoaster of emotions, so let me take you on this wild journey. While the company overall is a great place, boasting friendly colleagues and attractive benefits, allow me to share my cautionary tale about the IT department in the US. Firstly, let's talk about the managers. Ah, the masters of deception. They have a knack for pretending to care about your well-being, but alas, their promises evaporate faster than water in the desert. During interviews, they will entice you with tales of training and career development, only to reveal that it was all a clever ploy. Yes, my friend, you'll receive training, but it's strictly confined to the realms of your job description. Certificates to soar to new heights? (they will bait you with certificates in the interview) Sorry, not in their dictionary. Now, brace yourself for the salary discussion. Infor, oh Infor, why must you play the stingy game? They'll pay you below-average market rates, keeping you hostage in your position with the meagerest of raises each year. But fear not, for they have a grand internal evaluation program promising promotions and raises. You'll be stuck with the same title for what feels like an eternity. In other companies, people leapfrog to new roles every 1-2 years, but at Infor, you'll have plenty of time to ponder life's mysteries during your fourth year of stagnation. Your manager, oh, that elusive remote figure. They have no real connection to you or the office folks. The social aspect? More like social awkwardness. These supposed leaders would have you believe that they care about your career, but their actions speak louder than their hollow words. Brace yourself for years of listening to the same tired promises, yearning for change that never arrives. You'll soon realize their grand plans were naught but a web of lies. And now we arrive at the climax of our tale: the unfortunate fate of those deemed too expensive to keep. A dedicated, high-performing employee may find themselves on the chopping block, discarded without compensation or severance. In the cold pursuit of cost-cutting, the managers will concoct flimsy reasons to part ways, sacrificing loyalty for the sake of their own interests. Remember, dear reader, that your value may be replaced by two or three associates at a fraction of your salary. In summary, the IT department at Infor serves as a cautionary tale of broken promises and misplaced trust. Behind the veil of friendliness lies a stark reality of unfulfilled commitments. The managers, far from embodying true leadership, thrive in the art of deception, ready to betray when it serves their own purposes. Proceed with caution if you dare to enter this realm, where the social fabric is threadbare, and career progression is but a distant dream. Take heed of this unvarnished glimpse into the world of Infor, where the symphony of professional life plays a discordant tune.

Cons

Management cannot be trusted. Management will lie to you. Managers have no people skills and can't manage their employees. Little growth opportunities. Below market average salary.
