Pros

There are many good people at Infor that want to make a difference. Infor has a unique value proposition that is unlike others in the industry. If you like change then this is the place for you.

Cons

Infor hasn't proven they can execute on their value proposition in a timely manner. Customers are left wondering when promises will be kept. Senior sales management are tyranical and make work/life difficult to balance. Big changes to the sales organization have proven costly and many seasoned sales people have left. The changes have made it difficult to make the kind of money that mid to top level performers are used to making. If you have a good territory or good accounts you can do well here but there aren't many of them out there.

Pros

-Pay is better or on par with the majority of other tech companies in the area. -Work to life balance is good. (rarely work more than 40hrs a week) -Laid back easy going environment. -Matching 401k, 20 days PTO starting out, paid holidays, health, dental, and vision -Opportunities to learn new technologies -Nice location -Annual pay increase

Cons

-Have to pay for parking -Vacation day PTO is also used for sick days -Not a lot of communication from the business side to the tech side. There is some, but it could be better. -Often there seems to be a disconnect between UX team and Engineers. This is mostly due to the fact that the UX team is located in New York while the old Lawson Applications (now infor) are being developed and maintained in St Paul. -Often don't really know what is going on with the company / clients outside of our immediate team / location.

Pros

20 days of Paid Time Off - if you want to act like a college student still and play foosball and ping pong - this is your job. Good job to start off for sales but don't expect to be promoted within the company. This is a just a "pass-through" company. Work/Life balance - able to have half-day Fridays. Easy schedules and easy job.

Cons

Extremely high turnover. Would fail to pay us commission for months on end with absolutely no explanation other than they were "figuring things out." Prepare to be completely micromanaged and work in an environment similar to a call center. Treated like a child. Management is terrible and you can never fully trust what they say. Could potentially be upper management's fault but either way. No career growth - couple went into inside sales..basically the same exact position that the Business development reps were. Started paying people 10,000-15,000 dollars less and no longer give out laptops. Only promotions in Minnesota would be inside sales. No marketing, etc. Company is completely product focused and doesn't focus on advertising so many people don't know who it is. You will feel like a baby fish in a huge sea. Unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone.
