Pros

Market Direction is on target

Cons

Manipulation of Incentives to reduce compensation No substantive raises No promotion opportunities Short term decisions to support public offering are creating problems that will be difficult to resolve in the future, such as not allowing adequate time to fix the disparate architectures and quality of products being grafted into new offerings Sr. Management openly misleads middle management

Great for just out of college...

Pros

A great gig for the recent college grad... the pay is tolerable and there are options for flexible scheduling, exchange programs abroad, and various spiffs such as gift cards, team happy hours, PTO, and day trips to baseball games, etc. Infor offers an incredible amount of monthly PTO as well! There is a lot of room for promotion into sales due to high sales turn over, but, it's all about who you know and how they perceive you... so keep that in mind, always, and hopefully, you have a manager who values you to get your name out there when promotion pools become open.

Cons

Management is far from consistent, and your entire work experience with this particular company is pretty much dependent on your direct manager unfortunately. You will have to navigate a lot of stereotypical corporate drama here, and the salary, while decent for just coming out of college, has a base that is around 15k *less* than the average BDR on GlassDoor and almost 25k less than an SDR (Sales Development Representative) which is an equivalent role. So, comparably in the field, it's sad compensation.

On the way out

Pros

Great people pretty much across the board. They are mostly a virtual company, so they would rather have the best from Arkansas than the 20th best in their home city. People work hard around the clock and check in after core hours and on weekends. There are lots of different products, and everyone is always looking for an angle to partner or sell together. Usability and Cloud message makes sense in this market... Assuming they stick with it to the end. Very generous time off and life insurance benefits. Just added 2 weeks Paternity leave for men and women.

Cons

Raises are rare and small. Bonuses happen for some if they are lucky enough. Promotions or title increases almost never happen. Company is likely in IPO mode, so they are cutting costs in strange places. Travel freezes for anyone not in Sales or Consulting. No new computers or phones, even if you are overdue. Hiring freeze as well. It didn't make Infor a bad place to work, but it didn't make it super attractive to stay in an improving economy.
