Pros

Good work-life balance, flexibility to work from home, decent benefits

Cons

1. Awful HR/Payroll - One month, I randomly DID NOT get paid. When I asked about this, nobody responded for over half a business day. Then it turned out someone had accidentally marked my record as "terminated." In the summer, the interns did not get paid for several weeks. Apparently the issue was extremely difficult to figure out. There is no on-site personnel in the New York office, so you can't talk to someone directly. 2. Awful IT - Support tickets take days to get any response, even for a simple request like a SharePoint permission. Remote IT staff message you suddenly and nag you to get on a call and share your screen, without advance notice or checking your calendar for availability. However, there is on-site personnel, so if you befriend someone then you have some hope to get some things done faster. 3. Little effort made to absorb acquired companies into the greater organization 4. Few social events

Pros

Growing company as a result of mergers and acquisitions.

Cons

Projects seem to always be in a state of escalation - many older technologies cobbled together. CloudSuite offering not ready for prime time from a support perspective.

Destroyed a great company with the aquisition

Pros

The only pro I can think of is the ability to work remotely at times. But most software companies have this benefit.

Cons

Upper management consistently lies to employees and customers to avoid any direct conflict, leaving the individual teams to pick up the pieces and take the hit. Everything is very reactionary instead of being proactive in resolving issues, even when suggestions of mitigating risk are brought up to management. The melding of internal tools is a nightmare due to all the acquisitions. Which led to some people not being paid for several months and management never acted on this to resolve and even mentioned it's a known issue. They expected people to work while they were not being paid, and couldn’t understand why people left after not being paid for a few months. Infor destroyed a well-run company by demoralizing the employees, freely showing favorites "from the Oracle world", pushing out anyone who mentions the issues happening, and not caring one bit about the clients. It's all about the sales on paper to hit their quarterly/year-end bonuses and "fudging" the numbers so the sales team gets a higher payout. Upper management consistently expects people to work extremely long hours, on weekends, travel consistently, etc. and then will not even provide a yearly cost of living raise. Overall, it's the worst environment and people are trying to hold on as we respect the original company and care about the customers. The original loyalty will only hold on for so long before it all breaks. Which I feel is the goal of upper management - to replace everyone without paying out severance.
