Pros

- Work life balance is great (largely depends on your manager) - Decent benefits - Stable

Cons

- No growth opportunities - Little to no culture to speak of - Heavy in politics If you are an ambitious individual hoping to work on new and exciting things this place is not for you. It felt more like a prison sentence the longer I stayed here.

Pros

Very flexible working hours Nobody checks or even cares for what I do Great co-workers (some of them)

Cons

Nobody cares for what I do Managers and business analysts (and sadly some of the developers) without basic knowledge of any standards and technical aspects of the product Nobody in the management cares about the quality of the product, things are done just to be done no matter why or how No opportunity to be heard - when somebody comes up with a great idea, it is usually rejected or torn apart Very small budget for all the things you might need (even for things like second screen or SSD), everyone just say to you: "Bring our own" No possibilities to chill for even a few minutes during work hours other then sit at your desk No tembuildings, no trainings

Nice Coworkers, No Advancement or Recognition

Pros

I love my coworkers. Ability to work from home when kids are sick or out of school is helpful. Health insurance is good.

Cons

No performance reviews. Minimal pay increases, i.e. 1.5% every two years is common. Few opportunities for advancement. Positions above manager are always hired from outside. Women especially have few opportunities to advance, and pay is not equal. Poor communication from management about company direction. Major offshoring and replacement of senior employees with new grads to save money. Poor coordination between departments causes lots of frustration for customers and employees both. Culture puts sales first, then has everyone scramble to create what was sold.
