Pros

Some tech talks about AWS, and there are some good engineers, some of them are cool to talk I dont have more good things.

Cons

-Poor Benefits if you work in Argentina: Once a week home office, some fruits some days, healthcare is standard -Only 2 week of vacation time, when US employees get much more, and most US based companies give at least 3 weeks -Micromanagment: a lot of micromanagment, this need to be fixed since it makes a bad climate to work -Lack of innovation: projects dont involve challenges or innovation most of them are simple feature requiered by customer -“Sense of urgency” is something they call a “value”. What this really means is be prepared to change your priorities when your manager wants in orden to take something completly different that needs to be done for yesterday.. this happens really often -Poor requirements and lack of documentation: most times documentation you need for development doesnt exists or is incorrect or hasnt been updated on a while -code reviews are focused on simple details and not well analyzed: you have more chance of getting a comment cause of the name you choose for a method than anything that can really break something -managment is only focused on dates of tasks and not on quality -there is not good training for new hires, they need to learn by themselves -managment doesnt takes feedback, we had retrospective meetings in the past but it appears that there wasnt a really interest to hear developers -communication between teams
