Infor not all about employees

Pros

Vacation equals four weeks;

Cons

New management is all from an acquired software Talent Sciences. They only managed one piece of software but because they have PhD's they think they are able to implement their same processes for the entire organization. The problem is they are getting rid of key employees who have been there for years. Almost all of the Lawson employees, Enwisen employees are gone after the merger. Those who remain are seen as negative and Talent Sciences wants them all out the door. If you challenge anything you better have your resume updated. Work/Life is doesn't exist for the regular employee however managers always get their vacation but refuse to allow employees time to take their vacation even when accrued. Infor is trying to get on the stock exchange so they are trying to look more profitable. By doing this, they are putting employees into high amounts of overtime due to not hiring replacements. Moral is low and management doesn't care. Management was informed of issues with current software over a year ago and now are starting to look at ways to improve the software. Clients are leaving for competitors like Workday, SAP and Oracle and for good reasons. Management is all about pushing jobs to Manila which it takes 2-3 of them to do what we 1 person does. Everyone knows it but they refuse to reconsider because they claim its cheaper. When you give work to Manila employees they generally take off and you're stuck doing the work. Management doesn't care and allows them to do this. Also they are to support US employees but they don't work US hours only their day hours. On their day hours they barely do anything. Most are completely ineffective costing US resources more time to train ineffective employees. The constant mergers have taken a toll on the company and moral of the company. Only Talent Sciences is seen as doing anything whereas the rest of us who work hard and get good client reviews are stuck in this horrible moral experience.

Great for just out of college...

Pros

A great gig for the recent college grad... the pay is tolerable and there are options for flexible scheduling, exchange programs abroad, and various spiffs such as gift cards, team happy hours, PTO, and day trips to baseball games, etc. Infor offers an incredible amount of monthly PTO as well! There is a lot of room for promotion into sales due to high sales turn over, but, it's all about who you know and how they perceive you... so keep that in mind, always, and hopefully, you have a manager who values you to get your name out there when promotion pools become open.

Cons

Management is far from consistent, and your entire work experience with this particular company is pretty much dependent on your direct manager unfortunately. You will have to navigate a lot of stereotypical corporate drama here, and the salary, while decent for just coming out of college, has a base that is around 15k *less* than the average BDR on GlassDoor and almost 25k less than an SDR (Sales Development Representative) which is an equivalent role. So, comparably in the field, it's sad compensation.
