Pros

I've worked at Infor for two years and am consistently amazed at the level of support I receive from leadership and how valued I feel I am by the organization. I have the opportunity to work on exciting and challenging projects, I receive regular feedback on and recognition for my performance and am able to maintain a very healthy work-life balance, which is important to me. Infor invests in their employees and takes an active interest in hiring people that are a good fit, not only for their role but for the organization as a whole, resulting in a cohesive team that supports, challenges and encourages each other.

Cons

I only have experience working in one segment of the organization, which was originally a smaller company that Infor acquired approximately 5 years ago, and which still includes many original team members which allows it to retain that smaller company feel. I don't know that every division of Infor runs as well as our team does but I think the leadership within Infor as a whole is invested in improving the entire company.

Pros

Work was remote. Unlimited time off, in theory.

Cons

This is the combination of multiple companies together. With this you get the dysfunction from all the companies merged into one, with the addition of meager products. Many of the senior people have been there for 15+ years and survive by backstabbing and lying. They won't hesitate to throw you under the bus to save themselves. Third rate people for a third rate company who makes third rate products.

Pros

I worked as a UX Designer at Hook & Loop, Infor's design "agency." Some of the best people I have ever worked with. So much talent came through our doors. A lot of us stayed, but a lot of other designers saw the light and took better jobs elsewhere. I learned a lot from these people, and I am a better designer because of them. The office camaraderie was excellent, and we all respected each other. We worked but we had a lot of fun too. Pay and benefits were decent, and the location was perfect.

Cons

I don't have a lot of great things to say about the company itself. Hook & Loop was an experiment, and I think we spent a lot of time and energy justifying our usefulness to the executives. The first few years felt directionless, with strategies frequently shifting. I made a lot of screens for products that never made it past the demo stage. Projects seemed to move at a glacial pace. Management changed often and usually without much notice. I felt like the managers were always struggling to find their way. Layoffs totally killed morale. Also, the Koch Brothers / Koch Industries are heavily invested in Infor. So that's a thing. I didn't feel good about their politics.
