Pros

Good work life balance. Pleasant coworkers.

Cons

This company will pay you very little, bleed you dry, and discard you once they get what they feel they need. There is no real innovation happening at this company. The only innovation enters in the for of acquisitions which then quickly becomes a dullard after assimilating into a culture with no reward for innovation or disruption and no real forward vision. This starts at the top down with an unscrupulously driven C-suite who have been in place for over a decade with very few marked results and a product team who are constantly being rewarded but develop products so slowly and so poorly that the company itself chooses NOT to use its own products in most of its day to day functions. Too many RIFs that the place feels unstable and too many bright intelligent people let go while retaining less than stellar performers.

Honest review of Infor. The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly

Pros

-Ok Base Salary -Lots of opportunity to learn things on your own -Sometimes the opportunity to work from home

Cons

-Large layoffs that you don't find out about until you go on Skype and the person is no longer working there -Very few people are team players. It's all about "I" and what do "I" get -The customer definitely does not come first. I had several examples of teammates that would sell software then not care at all what happened after that and left the customer high and dry. -Don't come here for great culture because there is none. -Turnover is extremely high -I've witnessed managers do several unethical business practices that were reported and ignored -In our department alone we went through 4 managers in one year (btw there's only managers here not leaders)

Company Has Become Bottom Line Focused

Pros

Company trying to be edgy in order to standout

Cons

The company is looking to go public, they haven't met their sales figures in 1 quarters. So to meet numbers set by the board and the new CEO (former CFO) Kevin Samuelson, Infor chose to lay off 10's if not 100's of folks. In some case by virtue of a group conference call. This was done independent of the impact to critical projects and contracts currently underway.
