      Pros

      - quite diverse backgrounds - possibility to work from home - possibilities to change job and move "sideways" if you want to try out or discover new products or technologies

      Cons

      - colleagues can make half or double what you make for same job so uneven pay - some toxic managers stay in place, maybe because of nepotism or blackmail in upper management? - quite few possibilities for advancement unless you flatter upwards - some products work in silos and even compete with each other - idea theft (and recognition) is common
