      Talented teams, but lack of strategic investment and internal growth opportunities

      Pros

      Many of the teams and individuals I’ve worked with are smart, collaborative, and committed. There's a strong sense of camaraderie at the peer level, and day-to-day work can be rewarding thanks to the people.

      Cons

      The company struggles to invest in the areas that would drive real impact and help us stay competitive. Leadership often questions why we fall behind, without addressing the root causes. Upward mobility is limited—senior roles frequently go to external hires with leadership connections, rather than promoting from within or recognizing internal talent.

      Not enough people

      Pros

      Worked with some great people that are respectful and share the same level of quality.

      Cons

      Consistently eliminating significant positions and high-performing employees, while expecting better product quality and more hoops to jump through, leaving the remaining employees burned out and others not caring about quality. Multi-country teams caused inefficiencies, due to 10+ hour time zone difference that only allowed a small window for communication.
