Disjointed Company, toxic & abusive environment

Pros

- Above average compensation - No defined processes, so you have freedom

Cons

This place is toxic to the core. Every company & product acquired by Infor came with its own culture and personnel, so there is no assimilation. Every team operates in a silo and actively fights with each other for attention and resources. Additionally, employees jealously guard their areas of expertise and job duties, for fear that they could be replaced if someone were to learn what they know. As a result, this leads to infighting and backstabbing among employees. Good luck if you're a new hire, as nobody will help you, or even answer an email. Managers keep their managers in the dark as much as they do their employees. Vicious beratement on team calls is common, so nobody dares to speak in meetings. "New" products are mostly vaporware, with no real product development strategy or even client success stories. This place is rife with the worst of Oracle & Peoplesoft castoffs who are simply collecting a paycheck until it's time to retire.

Pros

One benefit is that you don't work for free and at least make a below market salary. Very few coworkers are easy to work with.

Cons

Constant micro-managing. There is always a constant sense of instability, high turn over rate of employees and too much movement within the company. The training is very poor from the start, there is little documentation to help you support when handling cases. The software is the worst thing I have ever used in my lifetime. I have no idea how customers or companies buy in to this. The software Support 2.0 that is used to handle cases is the WORST software to use and the company does a very poor job providing adequate resources to help you do your job. You get easily reprimanded if don't answer to clients on time. Co-workers can be very toxic working long hours and making their job their LIFE. Upper management doesn't say a thing about it though because it helps their bottom line. You nothing more than a number here and must take cases and make sure you are responding on time otherwise you will be punished. There is zero company culture here. If you can't fit in the click then you're pretty much screwed and left out. My best advice to all of you who are seeking a job and are desperate, please do not make the choice to come here. Otherwise, you will feel miserable every day of your life. If you MUST and NEED the job then save as much as money as you can, but keep your resume updated. Continue applying to other jobs and NEVER stop. This company is too volatile to those who seek a stable career. This company is not about the employee but for rich. Everyone is a just a warm seat that can be easily replaced. Good luck.

Pros

Decent benefits and the opportunity to work from home.

Cons

Awful place to work but if you do come here, don’t plan on having a career. This company has been flip flopping it’s way around for years in hopes of going public. It looks like this is happening sooner rather than later and they are “trimming the fat”. The problem is, the “fat” are those at the core of the company who woke hard and have heart. No one is safe! Even the CEO “stepped down” recently. Unfortunately this went from an awesome company with a value system to a company who does business with the Koch brothers and now it’s all down hill. No transparency, you literally come in everyday hoping to not get fired, very weird environment.
