      Mission: Gift and a curse

      Pros

      Gift - Indigo’s mission is appealing, admirable and has attracted over $1B of investor funds who see the opportunity and support the cause. Availability of such funds have allowed for Indigo to provide competitive employee pay & benefits, among other nice perks.

      Cons

      Curse - The attractiveness of the mission is largely responsible for the continued injection of investor funds into a broken system. A mostly new leadership team has stepped in over the past 6 months and I do wish them all the best with turning things around

      Pros

      Decent salary. Decent PTO (when you can actually take it!) and benefits Ability to work remotely (for now).

      Cons

      CONSTANT departmental/team reorganizations leading to layoffs or demotion for many employees. CONSTANT meetings that suck up valuable time and interfere with your ability to do your job efficiently. CONSTANT process changes that lead to delays and customer frustration instead of improvements. VERY HIGH staff turnover - regular hiring and firing as well as layoffs - total lack of job security. BLATANT FAVORITISM over open positions. ZERO/POOR support from most of management.

      Lunch provided, nice building, fancy desks

      Cons

      Disorganized, dishonest, secretive, play favorites, rewards dishonesty, no privacy/ open floor plan/community work space plan, unappreciative, gave little to no training,mgmt/ leadership as well as HR not friendly or approachable and looks down on employees
