Pros

Beautiful office space with amenities.

Cons

Indeed is concerned mainly with entertaining the younger employees through constant happy hours and childish activities. If you’re older than 27, don’t live in the city it have a family - you miss out on free perks. There has been numerous requests to provide a consistent daycare system for children but all are ignored. We spend an obscene amount of money on office furniture but get little pay and no childcare in return. Indeed does offer emergency daycare with another company but 10 days a year for a fixed price isn’t a solution.

Pros

Free breakfast and lunch, open PTO, casual dress

Cons

This job started out really exciting but now it's obvious there is nothing left for me here. It's mostly busy work that is not challenging or inspiring so you get burned out quickly. A lot of people have great ideas to increase efficiency but they fall on deaf ears, so it seems like there is no end to the inefficiency. The rest of the week is just meetings that don't result in much of anything and I honestly don't see the point. At best, your Team Lead will put you on a project that you spend months on that ends up going nowhere. The pay is already on the low end for the Austin market and you can only get a very small raise once a year. The only growth opportunity is to become a Team Lead so if you don't want to manage people this is basically a dead end job.

Pros

Free Food. That’s about it.

Cons

This job is a joke. It might seem good to someone new in the industry but this company is managed by immature sales people who got promoted because they have good numbers but have no idea how to run a team. They basically work you to death till they spit you out to hire some other young person who doesn’t know what they are doing. Oh and unlimited PTO is a joke too. It is not. It is basically just an out so they don’t have to pay you PTO when you leave. And will only approve your PTO if you are a favorite, so unless you suck up, don’t count on it. THEY ARE CHEAP! Oh and here is a big secret. Don’t put your two weeks notice in until the day you want to leave. They ask you to leave that day, with 2 weeks pay, which is nice. But if you leave before the quarter is over you WILL NOT RECIEVE ANY OF YOUR BONUS!!!! Not one cent! I saw someone put in their notice be sent home that day, end of quarter was 1 week away and they did not pay bonus because they wouldn’t let him stay to complete the quarter!! BEWARE OF THEM STEALING YOUR COMMISSION!!!!!!
