They try very hard to make a pleasant working environment for all except if you're unfortunate enough to work in Finance.

Cons

Finance is the armpit of the company. The employees in that division are miserable and the management's attitude is that everyone is replaceable and they're free to leave if they want. A job here would suit you perfectly if you're an independently wealthy perfectionist masochist.

Great place to start a career. There are many opportunities for networking. The majority of employees are nice, hard workers. Some fun perks like free movie screenings and free lunch every two months. Company is growing.

Cons

Overworked employees, low morale, no leadership.

Pros

One of the best things about working for Imax is the free friends and family movies. Most of the people who work there are amazing, and generally it is an easy going atmosphere. Until recently, the benefit package was extremely good, but it has been lowered in the last couple of years.

Cons

Quite a few long time employees have been let go in the last 2 years for no good reason.
