Pros

Still fairly flexible with time off.

Cons

Incometant management. Supervisors have no clue what their employees do. Because of this, when decisions are made they are ofthen the wrong ones which ends up costing employees rework and additional time to complete items that were once simple.

Pros

New hires begin with 3 weeks of paid time per year. Work schedules are generally flexible. Requests for vacation time are rarely denied. On site fitness center (gym) with good assortment of equipment.

Cons

The company now mandates that 1 of the 3 weeks of paid time off given per year is used during an office closure between Christmas and New Year's. Medical benefits are decent, but outrageously expensive, nearly $100 per person every two weeks. Bonuses have been essentially reduced pennies on the dollar. Management does not promote from within. Management will perform large scale reduction in force layoffs with zero notice to employees. There has been an significant uptick in outsourcing development and testing; most new positions with the company are in China. Heavy investment on upper and middle management, no domestic investment in engineering staff.

Pros

WAS a fantastic and employee-centric company and still has remnants of that feel. Working conditions are, and have always been, very flexible. Mid-level management, which remains mostly pre-new executive employees, are still a strong point of the organization.

Cons

Compensation has been severely cut by new executive management. Noy only is direct salary being frozen or lowered, but benefits have been drastically reduced. Talent is leaving in droves. The CEO has expressly stated her singular purpose of shareholder value. Of course this is her job, but shareholder value is being destroyed through an overarching feeling of misdirection and lack of employee morale.
