Pros

Even though I was never looking for a job in the grocery industry, I really enjoyed my time at IGA. The people I worked with were amazing, and management were always people who really understood the industry. I was able to grow within the company, and really felt part of a team.

Cons

Customers will always be the worst part of any customer service job, but that is hardly IGA’s fault. Just be prepared to be blamed for everything and yelled at on a regular basis by ignorant customers.

Pros

Friendly co workers, enjoyable work, decent pay, good responsibility. Ability to work more hours and to move up into better paying positions.

Cons

Bad management, non-flexible, cold fridges, management is detached from operations of the store and later come into store and try to organize things into a way they see fit but they don't know what they are talking about.
