Where to even begin:
Responsibilities and expectations only grow but recognition is reserved for "higher" roles.
Management is always pushing and pushing and pushing. Seems like they may be getting ready to run but want get the most before they do.
Regional favouritism in terms of quality expectations within departments.
A mandate to return to the office on a 60-40 basis. This is a mystery that only the top management can explain but they don't want to. There are thousands, yes 1,000s of roles within the company that do not require attendance in an office but people are being pushed to be there. Perhaps they want us to suffer as it is hard to understand what else they want. Oh, and this is not actually applied to everyone. Favouritism abounds!
This year pay review and bonuses are being withheld this year because
shock-horror the company didn't hit 6% market growth. Anyone who can do basic math knows you cannot sustain that level of growth for any long period of time. (bonuses are not available to people under a certain level anyway. Spin that wheel hamster, the bulb isn't bright enough for the executives to look into your cage.)
The CEO is currently being taken up on accusations of insider trading. One might wonder if this is perhaps why we aren't getting paid more this year. Either way this is a damning thing to have levelled and speaks volumes.
