      If your a monitor RUN and run fast to another company

      Pros

      They pay you a very high salary.

      Cons

      Very disorganized. The marjority of the management is very new and their training is terrible. My manager has not been able to answer a single question (including helping me with my timesheet) unless consulting her manager first. The trials are a mess. Icon seems to put profitability first (instead of quality). Almost all of the CRAs I have interacted with are planning on quiting at their one year anniversary (so they don't have to pay the bonus back). The new CRA bonus program is a sham, they will not pay it even if things are out of your control (your report is signed off one day late because of the CTM). The training is awful so if you are new to the industry or the job then you are going to learn the hard way.

      I really wanted the ICON acquisition to work..

      Decent pay, lots of remote work opportunities.

      I'm a legacy PRA employee and have been with the company for 10+ years. PRA was not perfect, but ICON tucked all life out of the company. As a manager, attempting to interact with HR, IT, Finance, Payroll, etc. is an absolute nightmare. They will not speak to you on the phone and all interactions need to go through email or HR Helpdesk. They have literally removed the "human" aspect in "human resources"... and the soul of the company. Policies are changed without consulting management to determine how the changes would actually impact our employees. Changes are made, announcements are made to employees and managers at the same time, and then managers are left floundering for answers or rational on why changes are made. The changes that have been made have shifted all in favor of the company, and do not incentivize employees to stay.

      Pros

      Nothing Pros.....totally a worst company to work in your carrier; stay away if you have a family.

      Cons

      They have acquired PRA and started implementing ICON culture, now turned a good working atmosphere to worst after acquisition, PRA valued its employees and kept its revenue in profits with out any layoffs, ICON doesn't know how to manage acquisitions and how to value People.
