      Originally part of American Honda Motors. Re-orged into part of Honda North America.

      Pros

      Stable work. Friendly atmosphere. This is primarily a Windows development shop, but AIX, AS400, MVS, and some Mac application development.

      Cons

      Technology is not leading edge. Very conservative adopting new IT technology. IBM is primarily used for backend support. IBM India needs to improve responsiveness and skills.

      Pros

      I worked for HMA for 10 years. I was given a lot of opportunity to do and learn a lot of different things. Lots of responsibility, hard work, and I really enjoyed the accountability the company expects from its associates.

      Cons

      The company considers the learning environment part of your compensation. A method of keeping salaries low. Dept, Division and Senior Managers are very political and pick their favorites that are permitted to progress.
