Generally good entry staff, some of the staff that's been there longer will have your back.

Cons

Awful place to work, no proper training in departments, managers will work against you, god awful treatment of queer workers. You will get written up for nothing while other employees get away with everything. They'll also try to push you out if you've been there long enough, turnover rate, especially for plumbing and electrical is pretty insane.

It was ok until they introduced self-checkouts and that transition awkward.

You get really close with all the regular coworkers. They end up being like family. We work, we get paid and everyone was pretty happy. Breaks were typically on time and there was always staff to cover your shift if possible.

Cons

When they introduced self check-out, it was a bit tough. You noticed that they would begin to cut hours, but they didn't plan it properly because the contractors would come in with large and various things that only a cashier could do quickly. This was probably understood as transition time, but they didn't really share the game plan with everyone. Lots of people quit or were forced to find other jobs because the hours were cut in half. I'm sure they've got this figured out now, but it was tough.
