Cons

Long hours, low pay, management rules strictly by fear and intimidation. This company wants to wring everything it can out of its employees and the towns it’s ships visit, and contribute nothing to the local economies.

Decent benefits; mostly friendly co-workers; good product; embraces diversity; company president making positive changes and trying to do the right thing.

Cons

Legacy systems. Many longtime employees don't want to do any more than they absolutely have to. Overall pay is below market (if you don't like it they can find someone else to fill your role). Change can come slowly with a 143 year old company. Huge gaps between rank & file staff and senior managers. Tradition of being "penny wise and pound foolish."
