Pros

Interesting work due to the nature of business. Many good people on the teams. New president trying hard to change the culture to reflect a more contemporary work environment. Optional 9-80 work week schedule available.

Cons

Lots of organizational changes happening at the corporate level and merging with sister-brands. Organizational management is weak as is communication of strategy.

Pros

HAL has over all good benefits and a decent travel benefit if you like to cruise. Queen Ann Location is great for Down Town Seattle access. Internal university courses available to help with self improvement goals.

Cons

work culture at the corporate office is fragmented. Depending on your current department and work goals, chances for advancement are slim. Management does not actively work to foster your career path.

-great benefits (401k, profit sharing, stock options, & Health insurance) - cafeteria is decent - small Christmas bonus

Cons

Management is extremely top heaving and the CEO is only concerned with profits. Lots of the procedures in place are redundant and require several signatures for simple requests. While the attitude in the office is to scale back, management makes amazing money and spends your monthly salary on a week in Europe staying at top of the line accommodations. Hostile work environments are ignored and any issues are quickly swept under the rug with a gag order. They will also lay people off but flat out tell you it doesn't happen.
