      Pros

      HAL has a very diverse community onboard hailing from all 7 continents of the world, although most of them come from asia. Because of this, you get to meet a lot of people of different cultures and practices which is very interesting because each individual has different personalities. But the best part is that you get to see the world.

      Cons

      Crew members do not have benefits and are underpaid despite the fact that they have long working hours and lots of overtime. Whats worse is how crew members are not allowed to log it in the system that they did an overtime because the managers and supervisors doesnt want the head office calling on them.

      Pros

      Entertainment staff is well taken care of with plenty of access to guest restaurants and bars. The pay is great and if you are ok with living in a tiny room for 6-8 months, you'll see some amazing places and have a great time.

      Cons

      Small cabins, crew food is not great and, as with all cruise jobs,you get very little support from the home office.
