      Pros

      recognizable company hotel discounts a lot of different locations free lunches office environment quarterly appreciation luncheons sales managers get to travel

      Cons

      poor technology limited opportunity for advancement unless you are at corporate no overtime allowed poor management will not pay for training for people outside of sales

      Travel perks when you can get them.

      Cons

      Total lack of knowledge of the hospitality industry by senior and middle management, management is being recruited from failed businesses, no leadership - no one can or will answer a question or make a policy decision. only focus is on making blackstone even more money. no one cares about the guest - care more about the senior managers compensation package. its embarrassing to work here, they are a bunch of bumbling amateurs

      Pros

      Strong brands and a lot of cohesion throughout the company. There is a lot of pride in the name and the hotels are very nice.

      Cons

      This compnay seems to have lost focus after they were bought by Blackstone. The layoffs and service cuts are distressing. Staff is not supportive. The brands linger with a lot of technology and no knowledge of how to use it.
