Pros

The primary reason to work for Hilton and it's subsidiaries (I worked at a Hampton Inn) is for the discounts, both for you and your family. The freedom is also nice.

Cons

In the 'entry-level' positions you won't get much in the way of compensation. I think I made less than people working at McDonald's. The hours are rough, and if someone on the shift after you calls in, you'll often be expected to work their shift. I once worked for 20 hours straight as a result of this.

On this sinking ship other than the (gm) your all on the same boat!!! Its like high school with playground rules !!!

The bottomline is always considered before you or your staff even in non ression times !!!!very rare occurance someone will get promoted !!!
