      Very good company, too many bureacracies though

      Pros

      Professional development, properties all over the world allowing you to try out different places which is great for your career. Benefits and staff rates are also very good!

      Cons

      Too many bureacratic issues, whenever you try to do something there's always lots of approvals to go through, sometimes irrealistic guidelines to each hotel's reality and also as a manager you are asked to do lots of reports.

      Pros

      The other employees are fun to work with.

      Cons

      This company sends surveys to customers - and counts any rating of 8 (out of 10) or below as a ZERO. They get very upset at low scores but at the same time admit that many customers give a 7 or 8 but also say "everything was great". There is no training program whatsoever. Other employees (who were not formally trained) train the new employees. Frequently managers will point out something that was done wrong - something that the employees had no clue was wrong.

      Pros

      Great brand to work with as its part of the Hilton WorldWide brands of hotels. Individuals within the working environment are great individuals and will also help where needed. No confrontation and little or no bad mouth behind your back. Great colleagues to work with.

      Cons

      Not a great place to work if your looking to make good money as the management is tight on budget and try to get more out of a qualified candidate however paying less than expected. Management is always looking for faults within people especially if you are part of the old team, which means a team not hired by the new management.
