Pros

Great company culture in their HQ in Schaan, Li.

Cons

Career Development plans that are in the making for years are changed completely overnight due to lack of commitment and decision making skills from senior management, who most often dictate instead showing leadership. Management promotes likeability rather than merits and achievements when it comes to promotions and career developments. Management enforces too much expectation on employees to be involved with extra curriculum activities and events rather than functional deliverables in order to get promotions and pursue other career opportunities.

Pros

- work life balance - canteen with variety of food

Cons

- career growth almost impossible if you do not check the box of their typical preferred type - some colleagues have a very laidback world view, inclusion of working mom is not really there, despite promoting the topic company wide - being non-aggressive is viewed as weak or too nice

Pros

Opportunities for visit to Switzerland / Liechtenstein Head office has good work culture (great to interact with European counterparts 9 times out of 10) Structure / Process oriented company - you will learn a thing or two about process management systems, documentation, fmea, etc.

Cons

Oh, where to even start. Okay. Lets try. Just as awesome the Europe office is to work in, the Indian office is even worse to work in. Company culture in India is totally disconnected from the west. Let me give you my observations working 3 years here. 1. Main boss totally unreasonable. He doesn't listen to inputs from anyone, let alone learn from younger blood things like technology and IT. He basically is scared to go against higher management (although they encourage it) and keeps pupping up to them at the cost of his employees. He does not act like he says. For example, when he came in, he said "I believe in open office, I have no ego if you take away my office". And yet, even when they are constructing a new plant, and the current plant has less than 1 year operationally left, he forces process engineering team to build a new office for him at 6lakh+ cost just to use as his personal room (mind you, it was bigger than before). Lean talks about manpower stability and yet him and his personal assistant of an HR head have basically destabilized by firing indiscriminately operators who had given 20+ years of faithful, reliable, dedicated service to the company and replacing them with temporary NEEM trainees who have no attachment to the company. But he doesn't care because he can always push buttons (called KPIs / targets) and make his people run around sleepless to deliver the production numbers. Not only that, he has fired people with 1 month service remaining before retirement (30+ years of service to the company) just to make a statement of awe and shock. He has fired graduate engineering trainees after their 6 months probation, after making them relocate to a remote area that Navsari is.
