      Pros

      As the largest Dimensional Metrology organization in the world, you have an opportunity to gain great exposure to many technologies and applications. You get good support in getting trained. The core competency of the organization is awesome to work with.

      Cons

      Be careful, this company is very political driven. It seems that only those with direct tides to Global Management can succeed in this organization.

      Independence, able to do what you want

      Cons

      Managment, IT, and other support do not respond to your emails, you have to call. Then they will probably be out on vacation. You can finally get a hold of someone, who tells you what form you need to fill out. Then you have to go find that form, then you have to figure out who to submit the form to...Then you wait, by the time you remember to followup on whatever happened with that form someone will say it slipped through the cracks.

      Pros

      Opportunity to work for an underdog company, who has come from the shadows. Swedish mentality within the corporate environment. Multiple offices and locations providing travel opportunities.

      Cons

      Lack of guidance and support. Non-existent exploitation of synergies at middle management level. No opportunities for employee stock options. No corporate wide benefits provided or offered. Zero support for propagating innovative ideas.
