Pros

The Vacation Package is great and the pay is better than average for the work performed.

Cons

You are underappreciated. If you complete a job function efficiently you will inherit it amongst other job functions quickly. You will spend your vacation days during the week, only to work many weekends to catch up on your own work. Negates the good vacation package. Staffing issues.

Pros

Test drive new vehicles everyday Small business type environment can lead to a very close knit office During the busy season there is almost unlimited overtime Unique sales environment giving you experience in both Inside and outside sales They're willing to hire right out of college entry level people Weekly paychecks for everyone below store manager level

Cons

extremely poor communication from management, you'll find out mid-sales pitch they've changed the price or altered the security deposit amount without notification leaving you caught unaware and dealing with a now angry customer Compensation is poor at best, especially given their college degree requirement, typical MTs start out between $10-$11 per hour. The low wage is so that you are forced to work 10-15 hours of overtime per week to achieve the annual income levels they claim when you hire on. They have very little in the way of employee facilities or perks unless you happen to work in one of their two large campuses (Park Ridge, NJ and OKC, OK). terrible 401k matching their maximum is 3% but does not include any of your overtime hours so it works out to be and actual maxium of about 1-2% of your annual take home. Views employees as a renewable resource, use them up we'll just find more Senior Management in the area told middle management "Do whatever you want to (the employees), there is nothing else out there they aren't going anywhere" during the Great Recession. The greatest number of hours i've ever received on my weekly paycheck is 72 hours regularly it is for 50-60 hours a week, and will often work off the clock. Most locations are not staffed well enough to allow people to leave and have a lunch break but are instead often forced to work 10-11 hour days without breaks at all. Bonuses are small enough and hard enough to achieve most people do not find them to be motivating. They also change often enough that most people aren't even certain as to what they actually need to do to qualify for various bonuses.
