Pros

Hertz is still very strong and can be saved if upper management will try to understand the Equipment business. They have nice vehicles.

Cons

If you are on the equipment side you are just a writeoff for the car rental. They often would rather leave equipment laying around broken and missing deals rather than repair it and have their numbers reflect badly. Having basically 1 mechanic for 200 pieces of equipment might not be the best solution to cut overhead.

Pros

The job is alright. Basically get to do your own thing for the day. Punch the clock, clean the cars, and then punch the clock again.

Cons

Work in all weather conditions. Expect 4 cars an hour, but sometimes given the circumstances, it's just not possible. Dont really care to hear about productivity all the time.

the benefits, and got along with fellow employees

Cons

stressful, long hours, no work life balance I grew to dislike working and my life there. Never cars!
