50k/month is just enough to support me and my mom - this is my first job right out of college and I still live like a student anyway, been 3+ years, salary has gone up from 43k to 50k.
I'm a language speaker, so 25k basic + 25k language premium (Mandarin)
Why is all this a con? I later found out my teammate makes twice what I make... But I'm still staying because of the pros above.
PS Some employees are so secretive with their salary. It pissses the heck out of me because that's exactly what capitalists want. It's like - so what if your salary turns out to be much higher than someone else's? S/he won't stab you in a dark alley! If worse comes to worst, s/he is unable to control their jealousy and make things bad for you. No problem, you leave! It's a big world!
So post your salaries on Glassdoor everyone, citizens of the world! It's anonymous for gosh sakes. Let's all help one another!
