Pros

It one thing to celebrate our Health Conscious customers, Health IQ also does this with its employees on a daily basis. Here's how: We have a leadership team who are no strangers to start-ups, having successfully led and created multiple companies here in the silicon valley. We have a CEO who loves to win and pays it forward by conducting weekly entrepreneurship classes to all employees. In addition: Competitive pay with benefits Company paid daily healthy lunches Company wide fitness break mid-day (yoga, weight training, spin classes, mobility, group running etc.) We do mid day company stand up meetings where we celebrate victories (wins) from each person for the day. Very competitive atmosphere. We all have some type of health conscious/ athletic background who have a history of winning.

Cons

This is a start up, so the hours are long. If you are looking for a 9 to 5, this is probably not the place for you. We work hard and are growing at a rapid pace. If you don't adapt well to change and have low endurance, pass on this career move.

Pros

Awesome work environment that is unlike any other. There is alot of energy from the Best Sales Agents in the country. Not only sales agents, but our CEO only hire winners as our Engineers are the cream of the Crop in the Tech Mecca of Northern California. We have top of the line exercise equipment in which our CEO shuts down the company for 30-45 minutes daily to be able to exercise as a company. Since our mission is to reward the health conscious, we have to practice what we preach. We get to choose from Spin class, running a 5k daily, cycling 5-7 miles, weightlifting, yoga and stretching/mobility (all taught by professionals in that area of fitness). We are also provided free massages weekly (onsite), lunch is provided daily with many Farm to table choices. We have the latest technology at our workstations (as we should since we are in Silicon Valley). We never have a shortage of qualified, fantastic clients that are unbelievable athletes and health conscious people. A selection of the top life insurance companies to choose from for the clients and proprietary products and concessions for our clients that are not available at any other life insurance agency. We work many hours, but we are all motivated. Shouldn't you work alot of hours for something you are passionate about? We are building a company and changing the industry of life insurance. Sacrifice a little time now for long term success!

Cons

That I did not join the company sooner.

Pros

* They sky is the limit - you are not confined to a particular role or responsibility if you want to take on more and gain additional responsibilities - Highly Competitive - we're always on our toes trying to find ways to grow as a business and as individuals - VERY HEALTH ALIGNED - we truly walk the walk; much of the staff are masters in their craft. From winners of body building competitions, olympiads, olympians, staff is able to give back through peer led fitness workshops everyday during the work day for a half hour as a boost -Community - everyone encourages each other and there's very little unnecessary side conversations. Everyone comes in to get work done in the most efficient way possible

Cons

Because we are competitive, this may not be the best fit for someone who wants to do the bare minimum or be average. To work here you really have to want it.
