Pros

Good benefits; CEO seems to care a lot and is accessible, the management at my site on the other hand was not helpful in any way.

Cons

Absolutely no worklife balance. I was working 7-7 as a salaried employee so my hourly pay ended up being very low. I needed to take my pet to the vet and was told that I was not able to take any time off during the day for the first 6 months, even though I was working 60 hours a week, I couldn't take a couple hours during business hours to go to a vet appointment. No job security - must work constantly and live in constant state of stress to not be let go

Pros

Everyone is extremely hard working and wants the best outcome for their candidates and clients all while making money. The company is growing and there is unlimited opportunity to make your career path at Veredus/Hays.

Cons

The fast paced environment isn't for everyone. You have to be self motivated and push yourself everyday. The business isn't going to come to you.

Pros

-Good commission structure -Snacks and coffee in the office -The training was good and comprehensive about the recruiting process -My managers were always available and willing to answer questions -Coworkers were friendly and always willing to help out

Cons

-Terrible work-life balance. Getting into the office at 7:30am and leaving at 6pm left very little time to do anything else. -Little flexibility. There was not a lot of flexibility to work from home or go to networking events. It felt like you were always required to be in the office between 7:30-6pm. -Bad location. The company is located in an area that makes it tough to meet with candidates and clients -KPIs. Over concerned with metrics to the point of compromising candidate quality. When I worked here, I spoke to and interviewed candidates just to meet numbers. I wasted significant time just trying to meet KPIs, as opposed to finding candidates for open positions. -bad company culture and environment -micromanagement
