Pros

Loved my coworkers. Very very nice breakroom with lunch catered almost daily for reasonable prices. Decent pay. Decent benefits. Steady work.

Cons

Quality hard work is hardly shown appreciation. High turnover made it hard to even want to get to know newer workers. Hard to move up. Alot of favortism. Managment felt like they actively tried making work worse. Lots of incompetence from higher ups in building. Strict attendence, doctors note won't even help. Lots of saturdays taken away for mandatory overtime only to come in on Monday to push a broom around

Pros

Hach is a solid company in a solid business; they are an industry leader with very well regarded products and generally happy customers. Compensation and benefits are pretty fair.

Cons

With any larger company your experience will vary based on department and role, but in general the workload ranges from "excessive" to "insane" with 50-60 hour weeks being very normal in many roles. There is little to no respect for the employees. Projects are managed tightly to timelines and budgets with little regard to end quality and any gaps are usually left to the employees to make up.
