Pros

There is nothing positive except leaving

Cons

No career growth They grossly underpay people Their management team does things with very, very little foresight and blames the employees for the logical fallout. They don't value experience and they love to micromanage you. They tell you their SOW is the scope of work but when they change it on the fly tell you it's a living document. Trying to assist with process improvements is worthless because all they care about is closing tickets. If you vastly improve a process they hem and haw about the tickets you could have closed instead. Do not work for them.

Pros

lots of opportunities to gain experience (trainings) lots of opportunities to gain certifications in Azure, Google Cloud Platform and Amazon Web Services

Cons

Work hours are not very great terrible PTO (only 10 days of the year and have to use PTO if sick) Constant email and messages from teams from other areas of the world. They do not really care about what time zone you are in or even if it is a weekend. They want you to respond on your off time. Management is in unorganized and you will never know what is happening within the company, your managers will hardly speak to you. Very little to no room to gain actual projects that your title is described to you, they will try to throw you to help desk type projects even though you are a software engineer or a cloud engineer. Little to no movement up in the company and there is hardly any pay raises.

You deal with an Indian company that has come to the UK to try and penetrate the market. The people you communicate with are based in India. Their command of the English language is such that there are constant communication difficulties with most PLUS a different culture and work mentality which are off-putting in an annoying sense. When you have an issue or question, you can only email some Indian manager with an unfamiliar name - a person you have never met in your life. In fact you deal with such people most of the time. And you do not get a response to your emails. A complicated web based system to enter your timesheet or any other necessities like holiday. Talking about holidays, you get only 20 days annual leave plus UK bank holidays. But you have to reserve five of these days for the Christmas shutdown. Luckily I was dealing directly with some UK managers with an Englsiih workplace mindset. But they promised me it was a permanent position. But after some weeks I was suddenly approached by other managers about some positions. I checked with my second reporting line manager (UK one) who said that my position had become redundant as they had to transfer the salary to someone else in a different client office. Suddenly my first line manager and colleagues stopped speaking to me!
