Pros

This is incredibly rewarding work. Its an energetic environment where everyone has a sense of purpose and messianic fervor about that which they're doing. The work is incredibly fulfilling, both creatively and emotionally.

Cons

Greenpeace is a non profit so you won't ever become wealthy working here but you know that going in and you will know you're important and feel like you're making a difference with global reverberations.

Pros

Greenpeace is a welcoming community. Employees are treated with respect, no matter the position. The office offers an comfortable, multi-cultural environment. People are motivated and come from all different professional, NGO backgrounds. There's a lot of room to grow and learn.

Cons

Can be high-stress at times. May not suit everyone's personality. Work load varies and you can find yourself working late hours/ weekends. People are usually passionate of the work/projects, so this is probably not an issue to many.
