Pros

Co-workers were nice. They tried to make you feel comfortable. Lots of talking involved. You could find yourself blending into the company culture quickly. Interview process was easy. Almost everyone who went there (with or without experience) would get an opportunity to be trained. Interactions with people on the streets could be interesting.

Cons

A small office that looked very unorganized. Things were everywhere. Only 1 table for general meetings. Training/Orientation was not effective. Often a good idea to rely on yourself. Although the company said itself as the world's leading independent environmental organization, lots of people on the streets knew little to nothing. There's no where to place your personal belongings like your bag while working. It's better not to bring anything but yourself. Otherwise, you must take the risk for someone stealing your stuff if you decided to put them aside on a crowded street. There's a quota you would need to fulfill each day/week (the number of people you've stopped & signed up). Many co-workers were smokers. They did smoke a lot (could be the stress from the quota thing). So It could be tough to work around them without suffering from secondhand smoke. Last but not least, be prepared for back and leg pain for standing long hours.

Pros

A very team motivated environment. Easy early advancement to a salary position (within 6 months) at 40 hours a week at $15.50 an hour + medical/dental/vision.

Cons

Quota system. Work in all types of weather.

Pros

Nothing much, just thought of doing something good to the public, but later came to know i was wrong.

Cons

Poor organisation from the management team.Very little pay for employees that are put under a great deal of pressure.I worked with one of the worst managers in my life who looks after herself first and not the team, she tries to blame her team mates if anything wrong happens, she takes credit always if any good happens, no moral and ethical values, not even concerned about her employees at all, she takes it personal if you try to argue with her and she writes bad reviews about them and she had immature behaviour, they act very good with senior management but not with team mates. Most of the managers are not well educated, they dont even know the basics facts. All they know is how to raise funds from people and how to corrupt
