Pros

Encouraged people to become more involved and contribute to Greenpeace. Got paid hourly whether or not they decided to donate.

Cons

Very scripted, would get additional training if I did meet quota. Lots of walking, sometimes in rain/heat. Did not feel comfortable going door to door past 7pm. But during the day a lot of people were at work.

Pros

- Good holidays - (Mostly) Relaxed work environment - Interesting and varied work for some

Cons

- Very poor management - Significant nepotism for senior positions but strong preference for bringing in skills elsewhere rather than developing in-house talent/retaining institutional knowledge. - Negligible oversight of those in senior positions that leads to overly aggressive managers remaining in their positions.
