Not what I expected

Pros

Great, interesting, dynamic clients. I came to grant to work on projects in new and innovative industries in the middle market sector and you can work on engagements with those types of clients.

Cons

Poor recognition of staff, few opportunities to learn or try new things (including client work and greater responsibility). It seems that the middle management of the firm requires unusually long face time before they are comfortable moving you into new and interesting engagements. I had several years of experience with another middle market CPA firm, but after 9 months with Grant, I am stuck doing far more basic work than was routine at my last job. Management is not interested in letting staff grow, at least in my experience.
